Alberta issued 100 Notification of Interest Letters to Express Entry candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System scores as low as 300 in a new provincial draw.
The March 4 draw was the fifth of the year through the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program.
It should be noted that the draw took place before the coronavirus crisis fully took hold in Canada. The province of Alberta has since declared a public health emergency over COVID-19, but it is unclear how this will affect the SINP.
Important requirements for the Alberta Express Entry stream are that candidates have stated an interest in immigrating permanently to the province, and are working in an occupation that supports Alberta’s economic development and diversification.
