Alberta immigration has announced the results of a new Express Entry draw, issuing invitations to 187 candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System scores as low as 303.
The draw took place on June 27 and was the 12th draw of the year through the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program.

Important requirements for the Alberta Express Entry stream are that candidates have stated an interest in immigrating permanently to the province, and are working in an occupation that supports Alberta’s economic development and diversification.

Alberta is yet to receive its federal government nomination allocation for 2020. It currently has 1,175 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications and 325 expression of interest applications in the Alberta Express Entry pool.
Alberta conducted 31 draws tapping the federal Express Entry pool during 2019, issuing 7,034 Notification of Interest Letters.
Regular draws are conducted under the Alberta Express Entry stream, selecting candidates from the federal Express Entry pool and inviting them to apply to the AINP.
