Prince Edward Island issued 158 invitations to skilled workers and entrepreneurs in the province’s latest Expression of Interest draw.

Labour Impact, Express Entry and Business Impact candidates were all targeted in the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program draw, which took place on October 17.

It saw 146 invites issued to Labour Impact/Express Entry candidates, and 12 invites issued through the Business Impact stream.

Business Impact candidates required a minimum score of 122 points.

PEI launched its Expression of Interest system at the start of 2018 and has made monthly draws ever since.

In the 10 draws so far in 2019, PEI has invited 1,345 candidates, including 1,177 through the Labour Impact/Express Entry streams and 168 through the Business Impact stream.
