Quebec immigration has targeted tech, engineering, health and education occupations in a new draw through the Arrima Expression of Interest system.
The June 29 draw targeted three categories of candidates with 1,218 invitations.
The first category targeted tech occupations with a minimum score of 584 in the Quebec Expression of Interest points system, who also needed an oral French language speaking ability of level 7 or higher on the Quebec proficiency scale.
In the second category, engineering, health and teaching occupations with a minimum score of 592 were targeted, also requiring level 7 oral French.
The specific occupations targeted in the first two categories are listed below.
Candidates with a job offer outside of the Montreal metropolitan area were targeted in the third category. There was no minimum score for these candidates.
