Alberta immigration targeted Express Entry candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System scores as low as 300 in two new provincial draws.
The Alberta Express Entry draws, which took place on January 22 and 29, saw Notification of Interest Letters issued to 351 Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program candidates.
On January 22, 201 letters were sent, with the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 350.
On January 29, 150 letters were sent, with the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 300.
Important requirements for the Alberta Express Entry stream are that candidates have stated an interest in immigrating permanently to the province, and are working in an occupation that supports Alberta’s economic development and diversification.
