Alberta Express Entry Draw Sees Minimum CRS Score Of 400

Alberta immigration issued Notifications of Interest to candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System scores as low as 400 in the latest Express Entry-linked draw through the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program.

The September 25 draw saw NOIs issued to 374 candidates with profiles in the Express Entry pool 

Important requirements for the Alberta Express Entry stream are that candidates have stated an interest in immigrating permanently to the province, and are working in an occupation that supports Alberta’s economic development and diversification.

Alberta has now conducted 25 draws tapping the federal Express Entry pool during 2019.

As of October 9, 2019, Alberta has issued 4,633 of its 6,000 federal government nomination allocation.

The province also has 1,800 applications awaiting assessment.
