Alberta Issues 115 NOIs In New Express Entry-Linked Provincial Draw

Alberta immigration has issued Notifications of Interest to 115 Express Entry candidates in the latest draw through the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program.

The October 9 draw saw NOIs issued to candidates in the federal Express Entry pool with scores as low as 350 points.

Important requirements for the Alberta Express Entry stream are that candidates have stated an interest in immigrating permanently to the province, and are working in an occupation that supports Alberta’s economic development and diversification.

Alberta has now conducted 26 draws tapping the federal Express Entry pool during 2019.

As of October 22, 2019, Alberta has issued 4,862 of its 6,000 federal government nomination allocation.

The province also has 1,650 applications awaiting assessment.
