Prince Edward Island Invites 143 In New PEI PNP Draw

Prince Edward Island immigration issued invitations to apply to 143 skilled worker and business candidates in its latest Expression of Interest draw.

The draw majored on Express Entry/Labour Impact candidates, who received 133 invitations, with the remaining 10 going to Business Impact candidates.

The business minimum score was 112 points for the third draw running.

PEI passed 1,000 invites for 2019 in its latest draws, with 86 per cent of invites going to skilled worker candidates.

Invites have been given to candidates from 91 countries to date.

In the eight draws so far in 2019, PEI has invited 1,065 candidates, including 922 through the Labour Impact/Express Entry streams and 143 through the Business Impact stream.

Colin Singer

Colin Singer is an international acclaimed Canadian immigration lawyer and founder of immigration.ca featured on Wikipedia. Colin Singer is also founding director of the Canadian Citizenship & Immigration Resource Center (CCIRC) Inc. He served as an Associate Editor of ‘Immigration Law Reporter’, the pre-eminent immigration law publication in Canada. He previously served as an executive member of the Canadian Bar Association’s Quebec and National Immigration Law Sections and is currently a member of the Canadian Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Colin has twice appeared as an expert witness before Canada’s House of Commons Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration.
