Manitoba immigration issued Letters of Advice to Apply to 173 candidates in its latest provincial nominee program draw.
The July 18 Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program draw was weighted heavily towards Skilled Workers In Manitoba candidates, who received 110 of the LAAs issued.
The lowest-ranked SWM candidate scored 539 points.
In the same draw, 40 candidates received LAAs through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, part of the Skilled Workers Overseas Stream. The lowest-ranked SRI candidate scored 718 points.
An SRI is when candidates are invited to fulfill a specific labour market need.
The remaining 23 LAAs were issued through the International Education Stream.

Manitoba stated that 29 of the 173 candidates had valid Express Entry IDs and job seeker validation codes.
This was the 70th draw in the history of the MPNP.
